Do I pay import duties on the course as well as the kit?
No. Duties and local taxes are assessed only on the physical materials, because only those are shipped. The online certification is a digital service and is not part of the shipment or its customs value — so a combined order is taxed as if you had bought the kit on its own. The amount depends on your country's rules and is paid on delivery.
How is the saving calculated?
The course stays at its full price of US$ 599. The 20% applies to the kit: the Expert Set goes from US$ 613.70 to US$ 490.96. Together that is US$ 1,089.96, and we round it to US$ 1,089 — US$ 123.70 less than the US$ 1,212.70 the two cost separately.
