Theory + In-Person: How the Course Is Structured

The training is divided into two parts: Theory and In-Person Practice. With an intensive 20-hour course load, the in-person training is light and covers the full theory of Personal Color Analysis, guided by Deh Martini's nearly 20 years of experience and more than 5,000 color tests performed as a teacher and consultant. Her own method combines technique, hands-on practice, sensitivity, and purpose.

In the Theoretical Part

You'll learn how to work with color to harmonize and highlight each person's natural beauty. Color is the first visual messenger our eyes perceive — its power goes beyond the physical and reaches the psychological. As the saying goes, colors speak every language, and we communicate through them whether we intend to or not.

The course follows the Expanded Seasonal Method, an in-depth study of the coloring of each individual and how to analyze and favor it. This method is not only the most precise, it's also the best suited to a wide range of skin tones and undertones. You'll learn everything from the earliest studies of color theory to the present day — color psychology, how to combine colors, and the physical effect of how color reflects light and flatters (or doesn't) different complexions.

In the In-Person Part

This is where it comes together. Deh walks through the full theory of the Expanded Seasonal Method in person, with guided exercises for deeper learning, followed by hands-on color testing performed by every student on different skin types. This live color test is also the first practical step toward a career in Image Consulting, for anyone interested in going further.

Deh Martini is a leading image consultant, colorist, and personal stylist in Brazil, and an expert in Personal Color Analysis. She has trained more than 5,000 image consultants through live classes and ongoing mentorship. She holds a degree in Fashion Business from Anhembi Morumbi University and specialized in Image Consulting and Color at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York. Her career spans nearly 20 years in the fashion and image consulting industry, working with real clients and accumulating approximately 70,000 hours of hands-on experience.
